FAQ
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible- ideally 9–12 months before your wedding- to secure your date with Charlotte and Aaron.
Do you offer both photography and videography?
Yes! Charlotte specialises in hybrid photography and cinematic videography, while Aaron focuses on photography. Together, we cover your day fully, blending candid, documentary-style moments with styled, editorial shots.
How many photos and videos will we receive?
Our packages vary, but you can expect hundreds of fully edited photos, artistic edits, and either a cinematic wedding movie or highlight videos, depending on your chosen package.
Will you guide us during the shoot?
Definitely. We provide gentle direction for styled shots, while also capturing candid, natural moments. You don’t need any prior experience.
How long does it take to receive our photos and video?
Photos and Videos are usually delivered within 8-12 weeks, depending on the package.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! We love documenting weddings near and far. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
How do you calculate travel costs?
We use an online MPG Calculator to work out our mileage to and from your venue. We give up to 80 miles free of charge overall and fuel costs are based on the current costs of fuel and are quoted upon receiving your location.

Can we request specific shots or styles?
Yes! You’re welcome to request specific shots or poses, and we’ll do our best to capture them. Please note that while we can accommodate your ideas, the final images and videos will reflect our signature editing and cinematic style.
Are you insured?
Yes! Shaw Weddings & Events is fully insured, giving you peace of mind that both your wedding day and our equipment are protected.
How do you handle travel for weddings?
We either travel to your venue a few hours before the day begins or, for weddings further away, stay locally the night before to ensure we’re ready and relaxed for every moment.
Do you photograph same-sex weddings?
Absolutely! We love capturing love in all its forms. Our approach is inclusive, respectful, and celebratory, creating beautiful, authentic memories for every couple- no matter your gender or orientation.
